Job Title: Social Support Coordinator

As a key member of the Paris Habitat team, you will work under the authority of the Head of the Tenant Support Department to implement the organization's social mission in the local area. Your primary role will be to provide support to tenants in need, while also contributing to reducing arrears.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage social arrears and assist tenants in difficulty, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Analyze situations of tenants in need, identifying areas for support and developing strategies for intervention.
  • Inform and advise tenants on their rights and financial assistance, providing clear and concise guidance.
  • Establish payment agreements after discussing with tenants, taking into account their individual circumstances and needs.
  • Coordinate with social partners for financial assistance, building relationships and securing support for tenants.
  • Support individual social actions within the Territorial Directorate, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Organize and lead unit activities, ensuring effective communication and coordination with team members.
  • Update information systems and networks, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of tenant interactions and support provided.

Required Profile:

  • Required qualification in social support, with a strong understanding of relevant theories and practices.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in housing-related social support, with a proven track record of success.
  • Knowledge of social actors and support mechanisms, including local and national resources.
  • Autonomy and sense of responsibility, with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • Conflict resolution skills, with the ability to manage difficult situations and negotiate with tenants.
  • Analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with tenants and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in IT tools, with the ability to use software and systems to manage tenant data and support.
