Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Steel Development Engineer to join our team at ArcelorMittal Maizières Bars & Wires. As a key member of our multi-cultural laboratory, you will be responsible for conducting CAE studies and managing partners and/or sub-contractors to develop new steel and process solutions for automotive applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct CAE studies using software such as CATIA or ABAQUS to optimize steel performance
- Manage partnerships and/or sub-contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects
- Participate in research projects on design and engineering of vehicle sub-systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop new steel solutions
- Masters degree in mechanical engineering
- Knowledge of Finite Element simulation software such as CATIA, ABAQUS, and FORGE
- Experience in the automotive industry or design office is a plus
- Advanced levels of English and French
