Area Sales Manager

Norit Activated Carbon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in the Mid France territory. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing a sales territory, driving sales growth, and building strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a sales territory around the South of France and sell Norit products to generate target levels of revenue, volume, margins, and days outstanding from the customer base.
- Develop volume and revenue forecasts, sales plans, and strategies for achieving desired results.
- Drive both current and future value for Norit by building a shared understanding of individual customer and overall portfolio profitability.
- Effectively communicate and negotiate complex sales contracts with customers.
- Identify new market opportunities and target builds; seek out competitive information.
- Establish and maintain processes that ensure accurate budget and forecast information for the business.
- Lead Norit's efforts to establish levels of excellence in sales and distributor management and customer service.
- Provide leadership that assists management in setting strategic initiatives and programs to achieve corporate strategies.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a field of science.
- Previous experience with activated carbon, filtration and purification technologies, food additives, or water treatment or working for a distributor is preferred.
- Five or more years of experience in sales.
- Fluent French and English language skills.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Results driven and business savvy professional who is able to recognize new business opportunities.
