About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support our EMEA Sales organization, with a focus on France, Spain, and Benelux. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial contracts, software licensing, and related services.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including software licensing agreements, data protection agreements, NDAs, and partner agreements.
- Collaborate with sales, services, finance, security, compliance, and other business units to ensure effective legal support.
- Respond promptly to legal requests from internal clients, communicating complex legal concepts to business stakeholders.
- Support the continuous improvement of standard agreements, policies, and processes, and participate in client training.
Requirements
- Proven experience negotiating commercial contracts, preferably in an in-house role with a software or technology-oriented company.
- Relevant experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts, including software licenses, professional services, reseller, and partner agreements.
- Fluency in English, French, and Spanish, with the ability to negotiate in all languages.
- Strong commercial sensibilities, with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders and negotiate commercial terms.
- Excellent contract analysis, drafting, and negotiation skills, as well as strong communication skills.
