Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at Ipsen Pharma (SAS). As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's contractual arrangements and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including confidentiality agreements, consulting agreements, and technology license agreements.
  • Contract Review and Interpretation: Advise on the full cycle of contracts, interpret key contractual provisions, and ensure alignment with business objectives and legal requirements.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Review company activities to ensure legal and regulatory compliance, identify potential risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Contract Database Management: Manage and maintain contract databases, provide related internal training, and ensure efficient and scalable legal support.
  • Digital Projects and Initiatives: Provide legal advice and guidance on digital projects and initiatives, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in the legal domain, with at least 5 years of experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and completing transactional documents, particularly in the life sciences industry.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, with French or other languages being a plus.
