Role Overview

The primary objective of this position is to facilitate the seamless administration of the Engineering division, adhering to the standards expected by the organization.

The role demands a courteous, professional, and adaptable approach to service delivery, ensuring compliance with the operational standards of the hotel, whether through electronic communication, telephonic interactions, or face-to-face engagements.

Responsibilities include the coordination of all internal and external communications, management of incoming correspondence, and execution of various administrative tasks for the Engineering division.

It is essential to maintain comprehensive and precise records of all engineering documentation, supplier agreements, and contracts in accordance with Accor's policies and procedures.

Familiarity with the hotel’s facilities that are vital to the Engineering division's operations is required.

The position entails adherence to established opening and closing protocols for the Engineering office.

An efficient and accurate filing system, both manual and digital, must be sustained at all times.

Responsibilities also include the meticulous documentation of quarterly, bi-annual, and annual inventories of operational equipment.

The Engineering office and its surrounding areas must be kept clean and organized consistently.

The role involves processing all planned preventive maintenance and guestroom servicing tasks, ensuring follow-up on completion, and providing feedback to the management system.

Monitoring of operational supplies to minimize spoilage and waste is also a key responsibility.

The ability to execute emergency procedures is necessary.

Additional duties may be required outside the primary scope of the position during emergencies, as needed.

The individual must be available for on-call duties after standard operating hours and coordinate with tradespersons as required.

Other reasonable tasks may be assigned by the Assistant and Director of Engineering as necessary.
