We are seeking a Software Quality Engineer (m/f) to support our Commercial Aircraft division within the Quality Department of Avionics & Simulation, Quality Assurance Service.
This role is integral to the development and manufacturing processes of our Commercial Aircraft sector, focusing on the design, production, and support of critical software systems embedded in Airbus aircraft, including Flight Control, Flight Warning, and Air Traffic Management systems.
The department serves as a center of expertise, providing essential technical guidance for equipment development, conducting financial and technical evaluations of external proposals, and offering consulting services for aircraft programs.

Your Responsibilities:
As a Software Quality Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the quality and certification of software throughout its entire lifecycle, from development to production and addressing in-service issues, with a strong emphasis on compliance with relevant avionics software standards (e.g., DO178C).
- Collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including software teams and subcontractors, to uphold the quality of Avionic Equipment, working closely with Program Management, Architecture, and Electronic Product Development teams.
You will be responsible for delivering the necessary Quality Assurance plans for Avionics Products, ensuring comprehensive quality surveillance throughout the development process.
Additionally, you will compile the Quality Assurance Dossier, which outlines the maturity of the delivered Avionic software standards, including all quality evidence and performance metrics related to key indicators such as PPS, deviations, non-conformities, test coverage, and rework. Regular reporting on quality surveillance KPIs will also be part of your duties.
Your Qualifications:
A strong background in Quality Software development within an industrial context is essential.
With excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, you will lead and support the development team in executing critical projects within a complex environment.
Demonstrating open-mindedness and autonomy, you will possess the ability to articulate, persuade, and provide clarity to the development team.
Familiarity with Business Improvement tools, Quality fundamentals, and Configuration Management will be advantageous.
Experience in managing Quality projects and familiarity with APQP or equivalent methodologies will enhance your profile.
