European Sales Manager

AMETEK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced European Sales Manager to drive the growth of our Scientific Instruments business in the European region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to win new business and expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly quota and forecast attainment for the European Sales region.
  • Manage and coach distribution partners and resellers to ensure successful sales growth.
  • Provide advanced technical sales guidance and support to customers in the region.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and systematically work to develop a new customer base.
  • Accountable for profitable orders attainment for the SI Business in Europe and accurate forecasting.
  • Perform market assessment and develop sales and marketing concepts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in chemistry, biology, physics, material sciences, or proven science background.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales with technically complex products.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and German/French language communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and general sales skills.
  • Ability to travel no less than 50%.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Employment background in electrochemistry or analytical chemistry laboratories.
  • Working knowledge of common electrochemistry software functionality.
  • Salesforce CRM-specific knowledge.
  • Experience in key account management.
