Job Title: Android Driver Specialist - Germany Deployment

 

We are seeking an experienced Android Driver Specialist to join our team at ThunderSoft Europe in Germany. This is a unique opportunity to work with a top mobile phone manufacturer and contribute to the development of innovative Android solutions.

 

About the Project:

The client is a leading mobile phone manufacturer in China, and this project involves working onsite at their office in Germany. As an Android Driver Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting stress tests, compatibility testing, and troubleshooting codes to resolve user issues.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct recurring stress tests on Android mobile phones or fusion products, as well as compatibility testing with local third-party applications;
  • Analyze fault logs fed back by users, troubleshoot codes according to log analysis, locate the root cause of the problem independently or with assistance from headquarters;
  • Assist the R&D department in headquarters with the deployment of problem analysis and locating tools, accumulation, and construction of problem locating capabilities;
  • Travel to the user side to locate user problems when necessary.

 

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, communication, electronics, information technology, or related majors;
  • Familiarity with Java, C/C++ programming languages, knowledge of Linux operating systems, and Android SDK;
  • At least 1-5 years of Linux driver experience, preferably with more than 3 kinds of driver development experience (e.g., HDM, LCD, touch, camera, USB, bt/wifi/GPS, sensor, power);
  • Experience in systematic problem analysis, handling, and debugging; familiarity with Android debug tools (ADP, Systrace, Serial tools, etc.) and Android log analysis capabilities;
  • Fluency in written and verbal English within a working environment, with great Chinese communication skills preferred.

 

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary ranging from €60,000 to €90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, pension plan, and annual leave.

 

Working Environment:

This is an onsite project, and engineers will work in the customer's office in Germany. Occasionally, short business trips may be required to user sites for bug debugging.
