Job Title: Microscopy Image Analysis Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Microscopy Image Analysis Engineer to join our team at the Institut Curie. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced image analysis techniques to support our research goals.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in optics, microscopy, and image processing, with experience in developing and implementing image analysis algorithms. You will work closely with our research team to design and develop custom image analysis solutions, and collaborate with other experts in the field to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced image analysis techniques to support research goals
  • Collaborate with research team to design and develop custom image analysis solutions
  • Work with other experts in the field to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies
  • Supervise the operation and maintenance of microscopes and train users to ensure image capture quality
  • Implement, validate, maintain, and update image analysis and processing tools based on multidimensional fluorescence microscopy datasets
Requirements
  • Engineering degree or master's degree in (bio)computer science, (bio)physics, applied mathematics, or related field
  • Strong experience in optics, microscopy, and image processing
  • Programming skills in Python, MATLAB, Java, or C/C++
  • Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills in English
