Westinghouse Electric Company LLC. is seeking a highly skilled Proposal Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Proposal Management team, you will be responsible for managing the development of complex proposals, ensuring compliance with our governance process, and delivering high-quality proposals to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the Offer Development Process for large and complex offers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of proposals.
- Develop and manage the offer schedule, ensuring all internal LOA process requirements and customer deliverables are met.
- Collaborate with Customer Solution Managers, Account Teams, Contracts/Legal, and other stakeholders to develop mitigation plans for identified risks.
- Prepare the full draft commercial bid description, price, Terms of Payment, and other proposal materials.
- Integrate all relevant inputs into customer-specific offer templates, reviewing and customizing the required information into a complete submission package.
- Verify that all elements of the customer Request for Quotation are addressed and incorporated into the offer package.
- Ensure complete and on-time submittal of the proposal to the customer via the appropriate path.
- Maintain up-to-date parameters in the Company CRM system during the Offer Phase.
- Support negotiations with the client until final contract signature, ensuring proper teamwork and alignment with all relevant WEC stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in the industrial landscape, with refined commercial acumen and project management capabilities.
- Able to work to pre-determined deadlines, self-motivated, and a proactive problem solver.
- Enthusiastic approach to work and a positive team player.
- Very good numeracy skills and advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel.
- Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
