We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our central purchasing and marketing team in Lille. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing the sales and profitability of several product families in the home universe.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop the sales and profitability of several product families in the home universe
- Identify opportunities for stock clearance with major brands and wholesalers in France and Europe
- Be an expert in your product universe, ensuring a competitive watch, identifying new categories and suppliers, and searching for stock clearance opportunities
- Define the product offer of referenced suppliers and central products by analyzing the positioning of your product families (trend watch - customer needs - price coherence)
- Pilot a portfolio of suppliers responding to the needs of product families (annual negotiations, commercial operations, tender calls, MOQ)
- Dynamize sales in stores (new products, price-decalaged products, private sales, stock clearance, TG, promotions, podium)
- Be the key contact for our stores (in addition to regular visits and daily relations, be involved in store openings and new concepts)
- Define annual objectives for product families in line with the category budget
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role in a central purchasing team
- Excellent negotiation skills and strong relationships
- Reactivity and strategic vision
- Analysis and synthesis skills
- Fluent English - Knowledge of the universe of stock clearance / wholesalers
- A dynamic and growing team
- 100% transport costs covered up to 90€ per month
