We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator and Network Specialist to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in maintaining the optimal performance of our information systems.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, including the network, telephony, and security systems.
- Deploy and maintain production servers in a Windows and Linux environment.
- Provide technical and application support to users.
- Manage and administer our computer fleet, including PCs and servers.
- Ensure the availability and security of our IT systems, including managing access permissions and implementing necessary security measures.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, including procedures and project briefs.
You will be working in a dynamic environment with the following technical tools:
- Virtualization: VMware ESXi/vSphere
- Operating Systems: Linux and Windows Server
- Networks: IPv4 LAN, WAN, NAT, VPN, Firewall (Stormshield)
- Data Center: Servers, Switches, Storage (Dell environment)
- Monitoring: Zabbix
- Backup Management: Veeam
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in computer science or a related field with a specialization in systems and networks.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in system administration and network administration.
- Proven skills in installing computer fleets and network administration.
- Strong knowledge of supervision tools, operating systems (Linux, Windows, virtualization), and LAN/WAN/WLAN networks, including protocols, routing, virtualization, and Wi-Fi.
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and print servers.
