About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Sales Specialist to join our Microsoft team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies and solutions, as well as excellent sales and account management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive consumption and grow the security business for assigned territory by partnering with local, regional, and national cybersecurity public sector customers.
  2. Lead executive cybersecurity conversations, orchestrate envisioning workshops, and collaborate with partners or internal teams to drive Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Pilots.
  3. Bring impactful industry insights into customer engagements and close deals with customers.
  4. Act as a thought leader across solution areas to advise customers across business functions on Gen-AI Cybersecurity transformations.
  5. Lead virtual transformational shifts to drive deployment and create business value for customers.
  6. Work cohesively in a highly matrixed environment with members of the Microsoft account team and services field, Microsoft partners, and Microsoft corporate sales, engineering, and marketing.
  7. Develop sales and business strategy options, while also being able to successfully execute complex opportunities.
Requirements
  • Technology-related security sales experience or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of Gen-AI, cloud security technologies, and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Excellent sales and account management skills, with a proven track record of success.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Ability to travel as needed, up to 50% of the time.
