Job Title: Luggage Porter

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional service to guests by greeting them politely and guiding them towards the reception desk or function rooms.
  • Assist guests with their luggage for both check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience.
  • Carry guests' luggage to the room upon check-in and check-out, maintaining the highest standards of elegance and playfulness.
  • Ensure that all guest property is safely handled and/or stored in the Luggage Room, adhering to our strict protocols.
  • Comply with standards of grooming, elegance, and playfulness, reflecting the Sofitel brand's values.
  • Replace the Doorman at the door, whenever necessary, maintaining a seamless and welcoming experience for our guests.
  • Handle vehicle parking for guests as per procedure, ensuring their vehicles are safely parked and easily accessible.
Requirements:
  • A valid driving licence is a must.
  • Previous experience as a Luggage Porter in a hotel would be beneficial but not essential.
  • A smart and professional appearance is a must, reflecting the Sofitel brand's values.
  • A positive attitude and good communication skills are essential for providing exceptional service to our guests.
  • A willingness to take on physically demanding tasks is required, as you will be lifting and carrying luggage on a regular basis.
  • Careful when driving guest's cars, ensuring their vehicles are safely handled and returned in the same condition.
