About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Engineer to join our team. As a Data Science Engineer, you will be responsible for creating, improving, and maintaining data pipelines used to train our climate risk assessment model. You will work closely with data scientists and software engineers to develop and deploy our models, and collaborate with DevOps engineers to put models in production.
Your secondary mission will be to automate the flow of information between the tech and business teams to monitor climate events. You will be responsible for setting up, automating, maintaining, and updating connections to external and internal APIs, data preparation processes, model training and inference processes, data storage processes, and associated CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities- Setup and automate data pipelines for climate risk assessment
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to develop and deploy models
- Work with DevOps engineers to put models in production
- Automate the flow of information between the tech and business teams
- Setup and maintain data storage, data processing, and data visualizing tools
We are looking for a highly skilled Data Science Engineer with experience in data engineering, cloud and containerization, and CI/CD pipelines. You should have a strong interest in climate issues and be comfortable working alongside corporate insurers. You should also have a strong team spirit and ability to work collaboratively, and be willing to learn and adapt to new technologies.
