About the Role
Ingenico Group, a global leader in payments acceptance solutions, is seeking a skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team. As a trusted technology partner for merchants, banks, and other customers, we enable the global ecosystem of payments acceptance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with subcontractors and factories, actively participating in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
- Establish corporate agreements with subcontractors and factories
- Deploy operations strategy in cooperation with NPI, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance
- Manage RFQs from tender to contractualization
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions
- Own the deployment of terms and conditions of components negotiated
- Analyze supply markets to identify potential partners and market trends
- Manage repair and customization suppliers
Requirements
- Negotiation skills, including pricing, payment terms, and harmonious working relationships
- Ability to engender respect in negotiation with current and potential vendors
- Excellent communication skills and experience creating, reviewing, and red-lining contracts, agreements, and terms/conditions
- Experience interfacing with other departments in a collaborative environment
- Organized, with good instruction-following and multi-tasking abilities
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to recommend out-of-the-box solutions
- Knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes is a plus
