About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our R&D team at Qlik. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and building new applications and features in the data and analytics space, empowering organizations to transform their data and gain insights into their business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with peers to design and build new features, ensuring they meet customer needs and enhance user experience.
  • Work with a diverse team of software engineers and domain experts to develop cross-platform and cross-browser features.
  • Focus on frontend and UI development, building responsive pages, layouts, and components that deliver an exceptional user interface.
  • Develop cutting-edge technology solutions, leveraging cloud-scale architecture to build performant and user-friendly software products.
  • Improve and share your expertise with your teammates, driving continuous improvement in our daily work and delivering more value to users.
  • Participate in planning sessions to shape the future of our software products and strive for fully automated solutions and high-quality code.
Requirements
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in similar roles, building production-quality software in large-scale data, distributed environments, and rich UIs.
  • Experience with React, Typescript, or any modern JS framework.
  • Strong proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
  • Mastery in developing responsive front ends, design patterns with performance and scalability in mind.
  • Experience with large frontend codebases, mono-repo, micro frontends.
  • Experience with React design patterns, state management techniques, performance optimization.
  • Knowledge in containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes) and Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
