About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transmission System Design Responsible to join our Engineering department at Airbus Helicopters in Marignane, France.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define technical objectives of transmission systems, including specification writing and compliance to requirements.
  • Follow detailed design and compliance to requirements of performance, manufacturing, assembly, and reliability for any design change and/or new certification.
  • Manage activities in compliance with Airbus Helicopters' applicable processes.
  • Write (flight and bench) tests requests and conclusions, and prepare and follow up these tests.
  • Certify transmission systems, including documents writing and discussions with EASA.
About You

To succeed in this challenging transmission systems environment, you will need:

  • 5 years' degree level in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the aeronautical domain.
  • Synthesis spirit and rigorous approach.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Advanced level in English and negotiation level in French; German would be a plus.
