Position Overview
In alignment with the expansion of our biocluster and recognizing the critical role of biotechnologies in our nation, we are seeking an Apprentice in Innovation Project Management within the Growth Division of Genopole.
Working under the guidance of a Program Manager, you will assist all Program Managers in overseeing a portfolio of companies associated with Genopole and play a vital role in supporting innovative enterprises in the biotechnology field, in relation to Genopole's strategic initiatives (Bioproduction/Therapeutics, Bioeconomy).
Your primary responsibilities will encompass:
- Assessing and consistently tracking the requirements of onsite companies
- Evaluating the business models of the companies
- Helping to build a team with diverse skill sets
- Assisting in the formulation of intellectual property strategies
- Offering guidance on partnership development and facilitating connections with our network of industrial and corporate partners
- Advising on market access strategies
- Providing insights on company presentations
- Incorporating industrialization concepts into their products and processes
- Advising on the financial outlook of the company
- Supporting fundraising efforts by leveraging public funding and/or private investment opportunities
You will aid in the execution and rollout of a specialized support program aimed at fostering the growth of companies.
Additionally, you will participate in organizing and overseeing the annual Genopole Partnering Week event, facilitating connections between Genopole companies and our network of investors and corporate partners.
Candidate Profile
You possess a Bac+4 degree in business or innovation management, complemented by scientific expertise in biotechnology or process engineering.
You exhibit a keen interest in the challenges associated with the development of innovative enterprises and the management of innovative projects.
Ideally, you have undertaken an internship within the industry, particularly in a biotechnology firm, startup, or an innovation and entrepreneurship support organization, where you have applied your skills.
Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
Strong interpersonal abilities, initiative, teamwork, communication, and organizational skills are crucial for this role.
You are meticulous, well-organized, and thrive on challenges.
Employment Conditions
- Compensation: in accordance with the alternating and internal scale

Company Overview
Genopole is a biocluster focused on research, economic development, industry, and technology in the biological sciences, particularly genomics and biotechnology. Its primary objective is to unite innovative high-tech life science companies, public and private research, university education, and hospital-university services on a single site.
Currently, Genopole comprises 66 biotechnology firms, 17 academic research laboratories, and 25 shared platforms and infrastructures, employing approximately 2500 individuals.
The Genopole Public Interest Group (GIP) operates under the supervision of various entities, including the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, the Ile-de-France Region, and several other governmental and academic institutions.
