Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Business Development to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building trusted relationships with new clients, promoting our services, and developing and securing revenue and market share from new customers in the Industrial, Tech, and Automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales plans and sales campaigns to take advantage of market opportunities.
  • Represent BDP International at industry events and conferences to promote the brand.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive positioning, and potential opportunities in the coverage region.
  • Build strategic relationships with key contacts within customer organizations to understand opportunities for creating value.
  • Assist with responses to Requests for Proposals (RFP's), preparing presentations and monitoring sales leads and responses.
  • Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts and pricing, and close deals with customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
  • Solid knowledge of domestic and international logistics.
  • Charismatic and confident personality, excellent interpersonal and people management skills.
  • Track record of creating and enabling revenue streams, business development, and networking.
  • Ability to effectively network and influence prospects from senior to executive level.

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent presentation skills, strong verbal and written communication in English and any additional language is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft tools.
  • Combined excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to analyze situations and leverage on data to make good decisions based on available information.
