The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to lead construction projects and ensure seamless integration of all disciplines. As a Project Coordinator, you will oversee everything from residential builds to large-scale commercial ventures, ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Guide the project planning process, assist with permit acquisition, and ensure all regulations are met.
- Liaison Role: Act as the go-to person between architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure plans are accurately executed.
- MEP Coordination: Oversee and verify that mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) plans align with architectural drawings.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all subdrawings and construction activities align with approved plans and specifications.
- Communication Management: Resolve discrepancies between designs and on-site execution, and manage communications effectively.
- Timeline Maintenance: Keep track of project timelines and ensure structural elements and materials meet standards.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven track record in construction project coordination with a strong grasp of architectural and engineering processes.
- MEP Systems: Experience in coordinating MEP systems and interpreting complex construction plans.
- Software Skills: Familiarity with construction management software like CAT and Rabbet.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for negotiating and resolving issues.
- Independence: Ability to manage multiple aspects of projects efficiently and work independently.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of current construction regulations and standards.
