A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER
This role involves a variety of tasks, with customer service always being the top priority. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will warmly greet every customer who enters the store. When customers require assistance, you will prioritize their needs and ensure they receive the help they seek. You will also assist customers in selecting and locating merchandise and process transactions as a cashier.
In this position, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting with hiring, supervising staff, managing daily tasks, bookkeeping, and merchandising. You will also help maintain high standards and deliver prompt, friendly service to our customers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs
Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred. Are you eager to learn and motivated to excel? Do you possess strong communication skills? Are you service-oriented and always looking for ways to assist others? Do you have experience in recruitment, interviewing, and hiring? Are you enthusiastic about mentoring and inspiring others? Are you adept at problem-solving? Are you comfortable assisting customers with their purchases as a cashier? If so, you may be an excellent fit for this role.
WORK SCHEDULE
Our Assistant Store Managers work various shifts. Weekday shifts typically run from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Weekend shifts include 6:00 am to 12:00 pm, 12:30 pm to 6:00 pm, and 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. We offer flexibility in scheduling.
