About The Role:

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in generating leads for our digital business organization. This key position will utilize outbound sales approaches, including calling and social selling, to identify new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a proactive attitude and contribute to the development of new lead generation strategies in collaboration with the Sales Enablement Manager.
  • Conduct market research to anticipate needs and identify new leads aligned with strategic campaigns defined by the Sales Enablement Manager.
  • Support the digital business organization in developing outbound strategies and lead-generating efforts.
  • Understand the Digital Business value proposition and solutions, and define prospect engagement rules and scenarios per campaign.
  • Attend meetings with prospects, handle introductions, and follow up with the business development team.
  • Be the primary point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect.
  • Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to animate weekly lead update meetings.

About You:

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral, with extensive public speaking experience (additional French and Spanish communication skills are a plus).
  • Working knowledge of the Energy digital solutions market and the ability to learn new solutions and market business challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls daily.
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and make new connections with prospects.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other similar prospecting applications, with the ability to track dead-end leads.
  • Experience managing lead creation in a similar role.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to collaborate in a competitive environment.
  • Love working with complex market research and focusing on continued learning and improvement.
  • Thorough understanding of commercial awareness to establish rapport with prospects.
  • Bachelor's degree in business.
  • Motivated new graduates are welcome, but 3 years of successful SDR experience is a must.
