We are seeking an Assistant Professor specializing in Quantum Networking, working under the guidance of the Head of the QURIOSITY Team. Your role will involve pioneering research in the realm of quantum networks . We encourage applications from diverse backgrounds, whether experimental or theoretical, focusing on research projects that span quantum communication networks (including quantum secure networks and the quantum internet) to quantum interconnects and photonic quantum computing.

As a member of the QURIOSITY team, an "Equipe Projet Commune" Inria- IP Paris, hosted at Télécom Paris, you will engage in ongoing research activities related to quantum information theory, quantum computing, quantum communications, and cryptography.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading innovative research in this scientific domain
  • Teaching responsibilities (64 hours per year)
  • Enhancing the institution's reputation through outstanding research outcomes and accolades
Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.

A profound theoretical and/or practical expertise is essential for executing the outlined research and teaching initiatives.

Proven expertise in the field is required, demonstrated by publications in leading journals, successful acquisition of competitive research funding, and recognition through awards and honors.

Strong pedagogical abilities, teamwork orientation, and excellent interpersonal skills are vital.

Proficiency in both English and French is mandatory.

The position offers a dynamic, pleasant, and accessible work environment, particularly accommodating for individuals with disabilities.
