Key Responsibilities:- Provide both technical and functional support for applications, ensuring application monitoring and effective incident management.
- Automate routine support processes utilizing SQL and Unix.
- Handle incidents reported by users efficiently.
- Assist in the resolution of incidents that impact service quality and continuity at both first and second levels.
- Take ownership of the application and be equipped to deliver solutions.
- Contribute to service enhancement by executing action plans, including analysis of recurring incidents and implementation of procedures.
- Oversee workflow progress from Front to Back.
Proficiency in UNIX/Linux, SQL, Shell Scripting, Perl, Ctrl-M, and FTP is essential. Familiarity with Agile and/or Scrum methodologies is advantageous. ITIL certification is preferred, and knowledge of ION would be beneficial.
Candidate Profile:The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, ideally complemented by a specialization in Finance. Significant experience as an Application Support Engineer or Techno-Functional Consultant is required. A strong understanding of the Unix operating system, databases (SQL), and Shell script development is crucial. Basic finance knowledge is also necessary. Proficiency in English is essential due to the international nature of the role. Key attributes for success in this position include a service-oriented mindset, proactivity, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously.
