Mooring Engineering Supervisor for FPSO Projects

Engineering Responsibilities:
- Oversee and authorize mooring engineering tasks executed by the EPSCC Contractor and associated subcontractors.
- Review and assess mooring strength and fatigue analyses, as well as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for local structures and equipment.
- Evaluate design mooring activities under specified conditions, ensuring compatibility of mooring and hydrodynamic loads with interfacing disciplines, such as SURF.
- Supervise and validate the mooring design, including installation strategies.
- Assess the riser design along with its pull-in and installation methodologies.
- Review specifications and designs for mooring equipment.
- Monitor the fabrication and delivery processes of mooring equipment.
- Coordinate the logistics for transporting mooring equipment, including loadouts.
- Oversee the installation procedures for the mooring system.
- Manage the FPSO hook-up procedures for the mooring system.
- Supervise the installation and hook-up processes.
- Conduct timely reviews and provide feedback on engineering documents, consolidating comments related to mooring system deliverables.
- Collaborate with other engineering specialists and stakeholders as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with Classification Approval for the mooring system.
- Verify that construction activities for the mooring system adhere to design specifications.
- During execution, manage site queries (SQs), technical queries (TQs), and Non-conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Respond proactively to engineering clarifications, requests for deviations, and unforeseen technical challenges.
- Ensure comprehensive reporting, emphasizing critical issues to the Hull Management team and suggesting corrective actions.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Requirements:
- Exhibit exemplary behavior concerning HSE standards.
- Implement HSE protocols within the discipline area.
Technical Qualifications:
- Advanced expertise in naval architecture and mooring engineering for Oil & Gas projects.
- Strong, solution-oriented approach to task completion.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
