Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and updates of equipment and training on equipment intended for the fields of research and clinical.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and updates of equipment and provide training on equipment intended for research and clinical fields.
- Provide on-site assistance in troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ensure the functionality and safety of research and clinical equipment in accordance with current specifications and regulations.
- Write technical documentation and intervention reports.
- Manage car stock and work closely with the sales and applications team to provide excellent customer support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronic, and mechatronics engineering.
- Extensive experience as a field service engineer ideally with a background in research/clinical or diagnostics equipment.
- Solid understanding of electronics, mechanics, fluidics, and optics. Basic knowledge of natural sciences, diagnostics, therapeutics, and biology is desirable.
- Experience with microscopy equipment (multiplexing, light sheet, deep phenotyping) is an advantage.
- Fluency in technical English is essential. Knowledge of IT tools (hardware and software) is required.
- Quality customer service, organizational, and planning mindset, combined with the ability to technically analyze problems to be solved.
