These solutions are designed to improve energy efficiency and minimize emissions while ensuring passenger safety.
We are seeking a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) Test Bench Specialist to join our Research and Development team. This role is critical in validating the functionality and performance of embedded software solutions for electric and hybrid vehicles, including electrical motor control, inverters, DCDC converters, and onboard chargers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Model the test environment on HiL platforms, including FPGA and processor systems.
- Automate the development of functional, safety, and qualification tests.
- Lead a team of HiL test engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Adapt existing models and develop new ones for testing purposes.
- Configure hardware and software for the HiL test bench.
- Define test plans and ensure comprehensive test coverage of software requirements.
- Create automated tests for validating embedded software on target boards using Control Desk and/or Automation Desk.
- Analyze test results and troubleshoot any issues.
- Document test plans and generate detailed test reports.
- Collaborate closely with System and Software engineers.
- Provide remote support for electrical motor test benches related to powertrain system validation.
- Implement AGILE and A-SPICE development methodologies, adhering to ISO26262 standards.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics Control.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience with dSPACE HiL test benches.
- Proficient in developing for dSPACE HiL systems under real-time constraints, including electrical machines, inverters, onboard chargers, and DCDC converters.
- Strong knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, test automation with dSPACE Control Desk and Automation Desk, and CAN protocols.
- Familiarity with laboratory tools and automotive testing environments.
- Experience with quality management processes such as ASPICE and ISO 9001.
Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in English and French.
