About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in Belgium. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our business across all channels.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the Team Leader Benelux & France and marketing teams to execute digital-first campaigns with key retailers.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans for major clients to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  3. Support retailers in maintaining a strong brand presence, both in-store and online.
  4. Work closely with marketing and product teams to create demand and develop the brand in the region.
  5. Build and maintain close relationships with internal staff at Ariat.
  6. Implement a structured sales process focused on supporting sell-through.
  7. Create and manage GTM plans for relevant customers in the region.
  8. Conduct market analyses and report findings to the Team Leader Benelux & France.
  9. Create data-driven reports and conduct meetings with customers.
  10. Coach, motivate, and mentor customers in line with annual and seasonal GTM goals.
  11. Support customers at trade shows and events as needed.
  12. Ensure timely and professional reporting and management.
  13. Work with customer service, demand planning, and operations to ensure smooth product flow.
  14. Assist with any other duties as assigned by the Team Leader Benelux & France and Senior Team.
  15. Build a close working relationship with management to support business initiatives.
  16. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and current working practices.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced sales professional with a passion for the equestrian industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of driving sales growth and expanding business across all channels.

Requirements
  1. University degree or equivalent.
  2. Clean, valid driver's license.
Skills
  1. Fluent in English and French (Dutch is a plus).
  2. Confident decision-making.
  3. Strong problem-solving and change management skills.
  4. Analytical skills and knowledge of data reporting.
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills.
  7. Efficient organization, planning, time management, and prioritization.
  8. Efficient route planning and travel organization.
  9. Teamwork and collaboration.
  10. Strong presentation skills.
  11. Exceptional customer service.
  12. IT skills, including MS Office (especially Excel).
Knowledge and Experience
  1. More than 3 years of experience in territory management with retail and major accounts.
  2. Experience or knowledge of the equestrian market is essential.
  3. Proven track record with retail customers (brick-and-mortar, online, and omni) to drive revenue growth.
  4. Experience in brand building and product marketing.
  5. Ability to leverage analytics to support business decisions.
