Role Overview:
In this role, you will be supporting the Local Partner Services team. Your primary responsibility will be to advise and consult accommodation partners regarding their business performance, market opportunities, and industry trends. You will empower partners on how to effectively utilize the system, tools, and products available to optimize their performance on our platform, ultimately enhancing the experience for Booking's customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage proactively with partners in your region via phone and internal messaging to support business development, including market visits to your designated portfolio.
- Manage a portfolio of partners, serving as the primary point of contact, addressing inquiries, and following up as necessary while evaluating local market characteristics and trends.
- Maintain strong relationships with accommodation partners through regular performance calls and contact to ensure optimal availability and competitive pricing for Booking's customers.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of Booking's products to effectively communicate their benefits and usage to partners.
- Identify opportunities for partners that can enhance Booking's business by leveraging internal segmentation for prioritization.
- Assist in identifying new potential partner leads and facilitate further follow-up.
- Address customer service issues related to your portfolio, resolving them efficiently for the benefit of the business, partner, and customer.
- Support the organization of events such as workshops and webinars for partners, and participate in partner events as needed.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in account management, sales, or business development.
- Proficient in spoken and written English and French.
- Familiarity or experience within the e-commerce and/or travel industry.
- Proactive, responsible, and capable of working independently.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- A collaborative team player, self-motivated, adaptable, and open to change.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the designated area.
