We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Director to lead our Continuous Improvement efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across our network.
Key Responsibilities- Lead regular DC Management Review meetings and provide regular reports of data, metrics, and actions to measure progress against DC objectives.
- Apply company methodologies and engineering methodologies/tools to improve DC operations, including product slotting, labor standards, layouts, and optimization of flow.
- Develop Work Measurement standards and analyze data to determine required and optimal resources and/or MHE based on volume and standards.
- Provide continuous improvement expertise across the network and implement industry best practices, including Value Stream Maps, DMAIC workshops, Kaizen events, and 5S.
- Lead and drive programs and projects to improve operational effectiveness and financial performance, including lean and operational excellence initiatives.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns and problematic areas using statistical techniques and suggest improvements in complex data sets for the Region or a specific DC.
- DC Design – provide detailed DC design, including requirements for retrofit, racking layout and elevation, office locations, data drops, MHE selection, and parking.
- Analyze data to determine required/optimal storage environment/design/layout.
- Ensure projects are executed effectively with the appropriate buy-in from all levels of management and team members.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (operations, logistics, supply chain).
- Project management experience.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification – preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively source information, obtain approvals, build relationships, and provide sufficient influence to achieve success.
- Fluent in French or English.
