Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Engineering to lead our Engineering Project Management Teams. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing cross-functional engineering projects, working closely with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions to ensure projects meet financial, schedule, and customer expectations.
Responsibilities- Oversee all Project Management aspects from start to finish.
- Lead Risk Assessment activities and manage Risk Management.
- Collaborate with the Business Office to develop the Project Business Case.
- Define necessary requirements for product development.
- Report project status and ensure progress aligns with the plan.
- Escalate issues as needed and manage project change controls.
- Coordinate with global teams in engineering and manufacturing within a regulated environment.
- Manage and be accountable for project budgets, ensuring timely procurement of goods.
- Maintain global liaisons with customers and suppliers.
- ~3+ years' leadership experience in regulated project environments.
- ~ Proven success in delivering customer-facing product development projects.
- ~ Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, fostering strong relationships internally and externally.
- ~ Ability to take ownership and drive decisions independently.
- ~ Strategic thinker capable of executing priorities effectively.
- ~ Self-motivated and results-driven in demanding environments.
- ~ Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills at all levels.
- ~ Strong business acumen and commercial understanding.
- ~ Organized with proficient time management and administrative skills.
- ~ Experience in Agile Project Management preferred, familiarity with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- ~ Flexibility and willingness to travel.
- ~ Technical or commercial background in Engineering Manufacturing a plus.
