About the Role
Charles River Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Toxicology Study Director to join our team in Evreux, France. As a key member of our Coordination of Studies department, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating toxicology studies across various phases, from initiation to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead toxicology studies in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and international directives
- Develop and implement study protocols in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ensure the quality of data generated and adherence to timelines
- Analyze data and interpret study results
- Ensure compliance with GLP and animal welfare standards
- Prepare high-quality study reports and ensure timely delivery
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients as a scientific advisor
- Collaborate with technical teams and supervise study performance and scientific quality
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., toxicology, pharmacology, biology)
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Contract Research Organization (CRO)
- Proven track record of working independently and leading multi-site studies
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
