About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at Recrut'OI as a Director of Distribution and Sales. As a leading recruitment agency in Reunion, we specialize in assisting companies in finding their future collaborators in all areas of activity needed on our island.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Define and implement distribution strategies for large and medium-sized retail chains, cafes, hotels, and restaurants, as well as for the wholesale and retail sectors.
- Team Management: Supervise and lead distribution teams, sector managers, and sales representatives to ensure the successful execution of distribution strategies.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key players in the retail, hospitality, and wholesale sectors, negotiate commercial agreements and strategic partnerships to drive business growth.
- Process Optimization: Improve logistics and distribution processes to ensure efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Analysis and Reporting: Monitor distribution performance, analyze sales and distribution data, and prepare reports for senior management to inform business decisions.
- Budget Management: Establish and manage distribution budgets, optimize costs, and maximize profitability to drive business growth.
- Competitive Intelligence: Conduct market research to identify trends and adjust distribution strategies accordingly to stay ahead of the competition.
- Market Expansion: Identify and exploit new market opportunities to support company growth and expansion.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Logistics, Management, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in a similar position with a proven track record of success.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of distribution processes and specific commercial practices in the retail, hospitality, and wholesale sectors.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and team management abilities, ability to motivate and lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Interpersonal Skills: Negotiation skills, ability to build lasting relationships with clients and partners, and conflict management.
- Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis skills, ability to propose effective solutions.
- Personal Qualities: Dynamism, rigor, autonomy, sense of responsibility, and initiative.
- Languages: Proficiency in French and English. Knowledge of a third language is a plus.
