Financial Consolidation Lead

As the Financial Consolidation Lead at Penta, you will take charge of establishing our consolidation division.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Accounting and Consolidation, guiding Penta through a pivotal phase of financial consolidation.
Key Responsibilities:I. Financial Consolidation:
- Internalize Penta's IFRS consolidation, currently overseen by an external partner.
- Execute the quarterly IFRS consolidation for Penta, including scope adjustments, intercompany reconciliations, Cashflow Statements, Equity, OCI, and IFRS entries.
- Define and communicate the closing calendar and instructions to the Accounting and FP&A teams.
- Prepare the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS, including necessary disclosures.
- Coordinate the audit process for the IFRS consolidated financial statements.
- Monitor IFRS accounting regulations, anticipating their impact on budgeting and long-term strategies, particularly regarding IFRS 9.
- Assist finance teams in comprehending and applying IFRS standards.
- Develop and maintain the accounting group standard manual.
- Conduct the annual impairment test for Goodwill.
- Lead the integration of future M&A targets into our consolidation framework, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
- Engage in assessing the impact of operational developments, such as new features or product launches.
- Contribute to the implementation of a new ERP system.

- Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, M&A, Investor Relations, Product, and Legal.

About You:
- Experience in financial consolidation within a publicly listed company or a large family-owned group.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP, with a solid foundation in audit and financial reporting.
- Proven ability to establish or significantly enhance a consolidation department.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts.
- Proactive and self-sufficient, with a talent for problem-solving and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Fluency in both French and English.
