As a Financial Consolidation Lead at Penta, you will take charge of establishing our consolidation division.

Collaborating closely with our Head of Accounting and Consolidation, you will navigate Penta through a pivotal phase of financial consolidation.

‍ ‍ Key Responsibilities:

I° Financial Consolidation:

  • Transition Penta's IFRS consolidation from external management to internal oversight.
  • Execute the quarterly IFRS consolidation for Penta, including scope changes, intercompany reconciliations, Cashflow Statements, Equity, OCI, and IFRS entries.
  • Establish and disseminate the closing calendar and instructions to the Accounting and FP&A teams.
  • Generate the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS, including necessary disclosures.
  • Oversee the audit process for the IFRS consolidated financial statements.
II° Accounting Standards Compliance: Stay informed on IFRS accounting regulations, anticipating their impact on budgeting and long-term strategies, particularly regarding IFRS 9. Assist finance teams in comprehending and applying IFRS standards effectively. Develop and maintain the accounting group standard manual. III° Special Projects: Conduct the annual impairment test for Goodwill. Facilitate the integration of future M&A targets into our consolidation framework, ensuring compliance with IFRS and French GAAP. Assess the potential impacts of operational developments, such as new features or product launches. Contribute to the implementation of a new ERP system. About You:

  • Proven experience in financial consolidation within a publicly listed company or a large family-owned group.
  • Strong proficiency in IFRS and French GAAP, complemented by a solid background in audit and financial reporting.
  • Demonstrated capability to establish or significantly enhance a consolidation department.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Proactive and self-sufficient, with a talent for problem-solving and collaboration across departments.
  • Fluent in both French and English.
