Head of Financial Consolidation

We are seeking a skilled Consolidation Manager to establish and lead our consolidation department. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with our Head of Accounting and Consolidation, guiding the organization through a critical phase of financial consolidation.
Your Responsibilities:
I. Financial Consolidation:
- Internalize the IFRS consolidation process currently managed by an external provider.
- Implement quarterly IFRS consolidation, including intercompany reconciliation, cash flow statements, equity, OCI, and IFRS entries.
- Define and communicate the closing calendar and instructions to the Accounting and FP&A teams.
- Produce consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS, including necessary disclosures.
- Coordinate the audit of the IFRS consolidated financial statements.
II. Accounting Standards:
- Monitor IFRS accounting regulations, anticipating impacts on budgeting and long-term planning, particularly regarding IFRS 9.
- Support finance teams in understanding and applying IFRS standards.
- Maintain and update the accounting group standard manual.
III. Special Projects:
- Conduct annual impairment tests and manage goodwill assessments.
- Lead the integration of future M&A targets into our consolidation practices, ensuring compliance with IFRS and French GAAP.
- Participate in assessing the impact of operational developments, new features, and product launches.
- Engage in the implementation of a new ERP system.

About You:
- Proven experience in financial consolidation within a publicly listed company or large family group.
- Proficient in IFRS and French GAAP, with a solid background in audit and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to build or significantly contribute to a consolidation department.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts.
- Proactive and autonomous, with strong problem-solving abilities and cross-departmental collaboration skills.
- Fluent in both French and English.
