Head of Planning and Operations

We are seeking an experienced and highly dynamic operations professional to lead the Planning and Performance team within Rider Operations in France. As Head of Planning and Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of the delivery network across France, including order volume forecasting, rider network, rider pricing and incentives, as well as event planning.
This is a key role in ensuring the success of the rider network in France, and you will work closely with our Global Product and Technology teams to improve systems and processes. You will also collaborate with other members of the FR Operations team to ensure that we operate in the most efficient way, accommodating the needs of commercial stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement scalable processes to ensure Deliveroo maintains world-class operations.
- Lead the Planning and Performance team to achieve business objectives and drive operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including commercial teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Provide regular updates on operational topics to wider business stakeholders in a highly quantitative, data-centric way.
- Manage several direct reports, setting targets and facilitating their personal and professional development.
- A high standard of university-level education or equivalent experience in consulting, program management, supply chain management, engineering, or a high-growth start-up or scale-up.
- Experience building scalable processes, tools, and structured change methodologies, and a willingness to work in a highly ambiguous yet process-driven environment.
- An ownership mindset, with a curiosity to uncover and diagnose unusual outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively across the business.
