Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at microTECH Global Limited. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing advanced fault finding and troubleshooting support to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct advanced fault finding and troubleshooting support, targeting to resolve or escalate issues within contractual timeframe commitments.
  2. Manage root cause analysis investigations on site and serve as the main communication point between the customer and our company regarding technical concerns.
  3. Ensure that all Field Service activities are conducted within the boundaries of all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
  4. Oversee maintenance of the Technical Support SharePoint.
  5. Manage the set up and operation of software products and monitoring platforms.
  6. Assess the learning needs for the team, organize product and technical training, and ensure minimum standards are met.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Diploma or university degree in a technical field or at least 5 years of proven comparable professional experience in the semiconductor industry.
  2. Knowledge of the vacuum area or high vacuum area required.
  3. Good written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Strong customer focus to ensure delivered solutions meet customer expectations and timeframes.
  5. Proactively seeks customer feedback and asks questions to understand customer's business.
  6. Continuously looks for better ways to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  7. Strong management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize, and delegate.
  8. Excellent people management skills to manage, motivate, and develop team members.
  9. Able to coach/mentor and lead a team.
  10. Ability to support difficult decisions in changing business conditions.
  11. Understands and recognizes differences between individuals and fosters a collaborative environment.
  12. Adapts own behavior and communication style to different situations.
  13. Can understand and interpret technical documentation relevant to work.
  14. Demonstrates leadership potential with a minimum of 5 years field service experience in a relevant or related industry.
  15. Good command of Microsoft products.
  16. Flexibility and willingness to take business trips lasting several days.
