Key Responsibilities
The Strategic Foresight & Planning Office at HE Space plays a crucial role in shaping the organization's overarching strategy. The office is tasked with:
- Ensuring the accessibility of future-oriented intelligence by analyzing both internal and external elements that could influence the organization;
- Cultivating strategic foresight capabilities tailored to the needs of HE Space and the broader space industry;
- Executing and managing strategic foresight initiatives aimed at uncovering the potential impacts of various future scenarios on the organization's strategy, programs, and policies, while also identifying potential blind spots and enhancing resilience at both programmatic and organizational levels;
- Assisting in the formulation of strategic plans by pinpointing strategic challenges and opportunities, as well as relevant strategic options, and establishing appropriate goals and objectives aligned with mid- to long-term priorities at both organizational and departmental levels;
- Developing and sustaining networks focused on Strategic Foresight.
Within the Strategic Foresight & Planning Office, your specific duties will include:
- Aiding in the creation of future-oriented intelligence;
- Contributing to the execution and advancement of strategic foresight and planning projects;
- Facilitating both internal and external foresight networks;
- Assisting in the consolidation of materials and reporting.
Required Skills and Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications and relevant experience:
- A Master's degree in business, public administration, or a related field;
- Familiarity with pertinent methodologies and tools within the area of expertise;
- Awareness of market trends while adhering to widely accepted ethical standards of confidentiality, loyalty, and impartiality to maintain an objective and productive relationship with stakeholders;
- Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of an additional European language is advantageous.
