Animation Technical Specialist

Sous la direction du Directeur Technique, le titulaire de ce poste est chargé d'identifier, de préparer et d'adapter les outils nécessaires à la production dans le domaine de l'animation, en se concentrant sur le Graph d'Animation (arbre de comportement).
Responsabilités :
- Déterminer les projets et les améliorations à apporter au pipeline existant, incluant les cinématiques, l'animation en jeu, la capture de mouvement, le ragdoll, l'animation faciale et le rigging.
- Concevoir ou rechercher les outils et méthodes les plus efficaces pour optimiser le travail des animateurs.
- Améliorer le graph d'animation et l'architecture associée.
- Fournir un soutien quotidien à l'équipe d'animation pour résoudre les défis techniques et les aider à prendre des décisions visant à optimiser les graphes d'animation en jeu.
- Assurer le respect des contraintes techniques établies en collaboration avec d'autres départements (mémoire, FPS, sur diverses plateformes).
- Rédiger des documents relatifs aux outils, méthodes, formations, processus et contraintes moteurs pour consultation future.
- Servir de liaison entre l'équipe d'animation et l'équipe de développement.
- Communiquer régulièrement les contraintes techniques et leurs justifications à l'équipe d'animation.
- Être le point de contact pour les problèmes techniques liés aux animations.
- Exécuter d'autres tâches connexes selon les besoins.
L'innovation tant technique qu'artistique est essentielle pour atteindre le niveau de qualité visé.
Compétences requisesUne expérience significative en tant que Spécialiste Technique en Animation (idéalement dans l'industrie du jeu vidéo).
- Excellente compréhension des systèmes d'animation en temps réel et du développement de pipeline dans le secteur du jeu vidéo.
- Maîtrise de Motion Builder et/ou Maya, avec une connaissance de la capture de mouvement corporelle et faciale étant un atout.
- Solide compétence en python.
- Familiarité avec un autre DCC (Maya, Max, Blender, etc.).
- Capacité à collaborer efficacement en équipe et à relever des défis.
- Maîtrise de l'anglais requise pour mener à bien les missions.
- Connaissances en rigging et ragdoll (Havok) souhaitées.
