About the Role

AWS EMEA SARL (France Branch) is seeking a highly skilled Deal Specialist to join our Strategic Customer Engagements (SCE) team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and adoption of AWS services among our largest and fastest-growing customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies for strategic customer engagements, working closely with AWS Service teams to understand services and pricing.
  • Partner with C-level executives, IT teams, and multiple lines of business to achieve business outcomes and increase adoption of AWS services.
  • Advise and construct commercial deal terms, understanding the competitive landscape and providing deal guidance.
  • Facilitate alignment and effective AWS communication with internal and external stakeholders to resolve conflicts and encourage productive interactions.
  • Cultivate best practices through analysis and reporting in support of continuous improvements.

Basic Qualifications
  • Several years of demonstrated success working with customers on the structuring of substantial, strategic, and complex software or cloud services/infrastructure deals.
  • Several years of experience working with, presenting to, and negotiating with C-level executives, IT, lines of business, procurement, finance, and legal and internal stakeholders for sizeable commercial/enterprise deals.
  • Proven expertise with financial modeling for commercial pricing terms.
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, Technology or Finance (or equivalent work experience).
  • Fluency in English and French required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree.
  • Understanding of the technology ecosystem.
  • Direct field experience in working with enterprise or commercial accounts.
