OBIS Capacity Development Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a consultant to support the Ocean Biodiversity Information System (OBIS) in the development of training material. The consultant will work closely with the OBIS secretariat and subject matter experts to create standardized training tools for researchers and data managers.

The consultant will develop at least 50 short tutorials, which will be available on the OBIS YouTube channel and OBIS GitHub. Additionally, a step-by-step guide will be produced and made available through the OceanTeacher e-Learning Platform.

The consultant will work in collaboration with the OBIS secretariat and subject matter experts to ensure that the training material is developed in accordance with internationally agreed standards and best practices.

The consultancy will provide valuable support to OBIS in the development of training material, enabling researchers and data managers to effectively manage and publish data from biological observing systems.
