About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pipeline Group Project Manager to join our team at Subsea7. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for the successful execution of pipeline projects from tender to execution phase.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the tender review cycle, coordinating input activities of various disciplines.
  • Manage PG project start-up activities, agreeing responsibilities between PG and Project Team, agreeing key dates and cost budget.
  • Identify team disciplines required, allocate and monitor workload, ensuring activities are progressed to schedule and budget, with all safety and quality measures.
  • Control and report progress of activities against the agreed budget and schedule.
  • Identify changes, risks, and opportunities, ensuring proper management of the same, liaising with appropriate internal/external personnel.
  • Plan and deliver site and/or vessel mobilization and operation.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with Clients, Subcontractors, Suppliers, Tendering, Commercial, Engineering, SCM, P&O, Spoolbases, and Offshore Managers.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree or established role-relevant experience.
  • Experience of pipelines from within the Energy Industry (e.g., Fabrication or Engineering).
  • Recognized Project Management training or role-relevant experience is preferred.
  • Input to Tendering processes, ability to agree battery limits of scope and identify cost and technical requirements.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to compile, deliver, and present reports.
  • Builds effective collaborative relationships at all levels across a multicultural global environment.
  • The ability to influence to ensure all processes are fully understood and adhered to by participating project members.
  • Pro-active with a solutions-based approach, will communicate constraints which may impact programme or budget.
  • Pro-active planning and organizing skills, able to identify and effectively prioritize workload and effectively meet multiple, often competing deadlines.
  • Demonstrates initiative and ownership to deliver workload unsupervised. Will also support wider team activities.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement improvements to efficiency and costs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages.
