NEO Data Tribe - Master Data Management Expert

Launched by the Executive Committee, NEO is a major group-wide program that aims to create common, simplified, and harmonized ways of working across our plants, countries, zones, and divisions.

By optimizing processes among divisions, NEO will enable us to support our go-to-market initiatives in a more consumer-centric and agile fashion, while improving the user experience and workloads for our teams.

Today, the NEO Program is at a turning point, shifting from a "design & build & pilots mode" to a "rollout mode" to deploy NEO in all L'Oréal entities.

Join Our Data Tribe

As a Master Data Management Expert, you will join one of our MDM squads and be responsible for designing the S/ Data Model, understanding how the data is produced upfront in our MDM EBX Tibco system, and connecting all S/ satellite applications consuming the data.

You will also contribute to the maintenance of the applications and participate in the deployment of the change management activities by accompanying end users and providing trainings.

Main Missions
  • Support the Master data domain "Product owners" in the definition of the business needs and translate them into specifications for development/improvement of IT applications.
  • Deliver the functional specifications of the applications.
  • Analyze the impact of proposed solutions on the domain processes.
  • Customize/configure the S/ Business Partner, prepare functional tests, and endorse responsibility for validating developments before application roll out.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with internal clients giving regular updates on developments and improvements.
  • Participate and deploy the change management activities by accompanying end users and providing trainings.
The Skills You Will Need to Succeed
  • Act as a proactive Business Partner: "Big picture" understanding of the L'Oréal business, operating model, processes, and roles.
  • Decode & influence: Clarify and simplify technical concepts/solutions to facilitate action and decision making by product owner.
  • Act with strong transversal management skills: Bring an end-to-end vision of ecosystem of stakeholders.
  • Facilitate knowledge management and expertise transmission: Rapidly acquire new knowledge on delivered IT solutions and keep teams updated on enhancements in your field.
