Amazon Business is a rapidly expanding global business, and we're looking for a Senior Business Contracts Manager to join our team. As a key member of our contracts management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing contracts that meet the needs of our customers and partners. You will work closely with internal teams to build and deliver proposals, and will have the opportunity to develop and launch go-to-market plans for each contract. This role requires strong influencing and negotiating skills, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in and oversee group reviews of all customer contractual and purchase documents.
- Coordinate legal activities for contract/agreement negotiation and support the competitive bid process in reviewing RFPs and enabling contract compliance.
- Complete SOP Playbook to facilitate overall management of each signed contract.
- Review each proposed RFx to identify risks and access compliance capabilities; Advise on contracting issues and approaches with respect to commercial terms and conditions as well as acquisition policy and regulations.
- Lead all contract implementation activities including notifying compliance stakeholders and facilitating reporting requirements and fee payments.
- Develop and launch Go-To-Market plan for each contract to educate Customer Advisors and leverage the contract as an engagement vehicle.
- Facilitate customer meetings; Lead communication with customer contracting leads.
- Maintain contract records/files and manage, track, and ensure adherence to all contractual obligations.
- Develop and implement tools and processes in contracting operations to increase efficiency and sales productivity. Support the Customer Advisor team in educating contracting leads on Amazon Business.
- Establish internal reporting on contract performance and own monitoring and reporting on progress, including oral and written presentations to EU senior leadership.
