Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Negotiator to join our team at Synapsco. As a key member of our Facilities and Engineering category, you will be responsible for negotiating fabrication contracts for offshore foundations and structures.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Market Consultation and Contract Negotiation
  • Administrate and run the call for tender
  • Negotiate contractual terms and conditions/ variations in agreements
  • Present outcomes to management
Procurement Strategy Support
  • Consolidate market intelligence for this procurement segment
  • Run multidisciplinary workshops (structural engineers, legal experts, project engineers)

Requirements

  • Fair knowledge of energy-related challenges and industrial construction techniques
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to work cross-functionally, flexibility
  • Graduated from an engineering or business school - Bachelor's degree as a minimum
  • Experience in complex construction contracts negotiation
  • Proficiency in Power BI is welcome
  • English speaking is mandatory. French and Chinese are a plus
  • Analytical and synthesis abilities, rigor
  • Strong contractual background & skills
  • Robust understanding of industrial projects in Oil & Gas or Renewables energies
  • Strong Knowledge in EPC / FIDIC contracts
  • Contractual and commercial negotiations with industrial equipment manufacturers and/or major construction project stakeholders
  • Minimum 8/10 years of demonstrated experience in industrial procurement/contracts engineering, ideally in the energy sector
