About the Role

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving commercial goals in the region of responsibility by developing solid relations with dealers, improving dealer performance, building the brand, and developing the tools and services needed.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities
  1. Achieve assigned commercial goals in the area of responsibility.
  2. Funnel management KPIs of the assigned dealer network and create actionable improvement plans.
  3. Provide market insights and competitor benchmarking in the area of responsibility.
  4. Follow up with local finance partner teams on preferred financial solutions adoption rates and build action plans on feedback.
  5. Ensure NPS customer satisfaction surveys are rolled out effectively and any customer feedback is treated with maximum priority.
  6. Be a BYD ambassador and point of reference for all sales teams in their area of responsibility.

  1. Commercial and funnel management metrics:
    1. Order goals
    2. Registration goals
    3. Lead to test drive funnel management
    4. Test drive to order conversion rates
    5. Stock KPIs
    6. Marketing execution in their area
  2. Customer happiness:
    1. NPS
  3. Financial solutions:
    1. Market and customer-relevant financial solutions
    2. Financial partner-specific KPIs
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
  1. Educational background in business administration or marketing-related education.
  2. Solid working experience as a sales manager or retail manager.
  3. Proven experience within the automotive industry or mobility services.
  4. Solid financial knowledge.
  5. Customer-oriented mindset.
  6. Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills.
  8. Resilient, agile, and open-minded.
  9. Results-oriented.
  10. Great negotiation skills.
  11. Excellent English and French language skills (Mandarin Chinese would be a plus but not mandatory).
  12. Thorough knowledge of commercial management software and digital tools.
