Job Description

D2M Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Survey Positioning Specialist to join our team for an 8-month assignment focused on the installation of an anchoring system for a gas project on an FPSO.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management:
    • Supervise and manage a team of surveyors, ensuring effective coordination and communication.
    • Develop and monitor the team's schedule, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
    • Provide clear directives and ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Documentation and Planning:
    • Prepare and maintain a library of engineering documents, including methods, procedures, equipment datasheets, control sheets, and report templates.
    • Update standard documents based on feedback and non-conformance reports.
    • Develop and monitor the project schedule, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Define and control the project's geodesy, ensuring accurate and reliable survey data.
    • Implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for survey-positioning.
    • Prepare specifications for surveys or outsourced services and approve equipment specifications and purchases.
    • Develop procedures and ensure their application on site, collaborating with the construction manager.
  • Equipment Management:
    • Manage the equipment registry and track certification/calibration.
    • Prepare equipment shipments to projects, collaborating with the transport department.
    Requirements
    • Dynamic and Proactive: Adaptability, dynamism, and proactivity are essential for this role.
    • Language: Fluency in English is mandatory.
    • Experience: 5 years of experience in a similar role, with significant experience in the offshore sector, on platforms, and internationally.
    • Sector: Experience in the offshore sector, on platforms, and internationally.
    Technical Knowledge:
    • General knowledge of offshore, maritime, and underwater work.
    • Knowledge of offshore work procedures.
    • Mastery of safety regulations.
    Additional Skills:
    • Microsoft Excel: Advanced skills required.
    • MS Project: Required proficiency.
    • Autocad: Required knowledge.
    • Positioning/TMS Software: Proficiency with positioning and TMS software.
    Benefits

    • Remote Work: 1 day per week after 3 months of the mission
